Hey, I'm Samuel. I design regulated Financial Planning products with the team at Money Means.
Most of what interests me sits at the boundary between design and code. Understanding how things actually get built changes how you design them, and I'm drawn to problems where the right answer ends up genuinely simple, even when the underlying system isn't.
I think a lot about the tension between 'correct' GDS-style design and products people actually want to use. In regulated financial services you can't sacrifice clarity, but dull isn't good enough either. Accessibility and AI tools sit in the same space: most interesting when they're solving real problems rather than just checking boxes.
